Episode Four/The Dark Cibernetico

Sunday, May 29th, 2011

Neil and Ed return once again to discuss the news of the week and a randomly classic wrestling program. After discussing Kharma, Layla and Ric Flair the hosts jump into the 2010 edition of Chikara's annual Cibernetico. Discussion ranges from old timey baseball gear, alligator claps, the greatness of Johnny Gargano, the even greaterness of the Cibernetico match and much more. A good time for everyone with more references to POWW Superhero Chris Cairo than almost any podcast in the world this week.

Also, the show was taped on Friday which kind of explains Neil's musical interlude of the week. Kind of.

If you have any questions or comments you can reach us at, in the comments section below or @uwspodcast on Twitter. Thank you for listening and we'll be back again next week!

Chris Cairo vs. Prince Ali (of IWA:MS fame) starts at 4:15 of this POWW episode. The commentary can be off putting but it's a fun match (Ed)

Episode Three/Sunday Bloody Sunday

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

Episode Three of the Untitled Wrestling Show is now up and running. Following discussions ranging from Randy Savage to ROH, Ed and Neil dive into IWA Mid South Presents Sunday Bloody Sunday. While the most time is spent gushing over Low Ki vs. Hernandez, other topics of discussion include Neil unleashing his inner fashion critic, Ed's enjoyment of balcony dives, the beatings taken and delivered by the Necro Butcher, Ian Rotten's Truth in Advertising and whether aspiring wrestlers should be like Raven and Al Snow in all ways or just their fashion sensibilities.

An additional note, this show contains substantially more cursing than the previous episodes. Listeners Beware.

WWE Macho Man Tribute Video

When it rains, it pours

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

The fates really don't seem to want to let this episode air.  During final stages of editing I (Ed) must have messed something up so the audio started overlapping something fierce.  The original is still saved so the show isn't lost, it will just be delayed one more day.  Thank you for your patience.

Episode 2.5/Showcase of Superstars

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

Neil is travelling and despite the best efforts of Thor himself Ed is back and on his own with a solo podcast looking at the most recent episode of WWE Superstars and thoughts the news concerning the sale of Ring of Honor. In just ten minutes Ed gushes over Ryder & Hawkins, expresses admiration for the improvement of Vladimir Koslov and hopes that Drew McIntyre can avoid the fate of Chris Masters: Doomed to nobody knowing how much you've improved on Superstars. A show brimming with ten minutes of positivity and one minute of apologies.

Episode Three will be up tomorrow with discussion including Randy Savage memories, Neil's thoughts on Ring of Honor, Over the Limit and more.

As always, if you have any comments or questions you can contact us in the comments section, at or @uwspodcast on Twitter.

Schedule change (with Teases)(without Swerves)

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

Just a quick scheduling update; due to time conflicts Episode Three will be delayed until Monday.  Teaser: Ed may attempt to explain how camera work made Mickie Knuckles vs. Daffney as good as almost anything on Glory by Honor 8.

Teaser 2: There may still be new audio available on Sunday.  It won't be an official episode but there may be a new featurette.

Thank you all for listening and we hope you're enjoying the show so far!

The Second Show/Glory By Honor 8

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

We're back for our second show! Neil and Ed talk the limited news of the week including a lot of focus on TNA, a fresh match in WWE (hooray?), CZW and Tournament of Death news and also talk about Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara which wasn't so much news as an awesome match. They then look at Ring of Honor's Glory by Honor 8 featuring Ladder War 2 and Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness. Topics range from how much damage a Jay Driller does (and other merits of the Young Bucks), Sonjay Dutt's celebrations, beatings commencing and how much Hero is too much Hero.

If you have any thoughts of comments feel free to leave them in the comments section or e-mail us at You can also follow the show on Twitter @uwspodcast and you can follow Neil directly @wobblyneil.

Also, Neil was right. It was 40 seconds. After 40 seconds, this happened. And it was awesome.

The Debut Show/Summerslam 89

Thursday, May 12th, 2011

The first episode (and second recording) of the Untitled Wrestling Show is ready to hit the internet. On this show Neil and Ed discuss the Smackdown title situation, TNA debuts and name changes, neck injuries and experience some Kharma love. Neil and Ed then dive into Summerslam 1989 where Neil questions the patriotism of Hacksaw Jim Duggan's 2x4 while Ed tries to explain why Ultimate Warrior is still great in 2011 (and struggles, at best). Zeus, ice cream, glitter and the powers vested in Ronnie Garvin by Jack Tunney are also among the numerous topics discussed, most with some relationship to Summerslam. Also, Neil sings.

If you have any feedback feel free to leave it in the comments section or contact us at Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoy the show!
